The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) held a contract signing ceremony for its Automated Fare Collection System (AFCS) at the EDSA Shangri-La last March 31, 2014. Signing for the DOTC is Secretary Joseph Emilio Abaya, together with Metro Pacific Investments Corporation Chairman Manuel Pangilinan, Ayala Corporation Chairman & CEO Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala as the DOTC’s private sector partners. Managing Director of Ayala Corporation John Eric Francia, Metro Pacific Investments President & CEO Jose Ma. K. Lim and LRTA Administrator Honorito Chaneco witnessed the contract signing.
