The British Embassy Manila and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) are organising the event, UK PPP and Infrastructure Forum, to highlight UK expertise and experience against a backdrop of high value infrastructure projects in the Philippines.  It aims to present UK capabilities directly to both public and private project stakeholders.

There will be a series of presentations and panel discussions on the country’s infrastructure and PPP outlook and business opportunities.  Specific topics include Social Infrastructure (Hospital and Agriculture) and High Value Opportunities in Transport (Bridges, Airports and Roads).

Activities also include one-to-one meetings with public and private stakeholders, plus a separate session with Vietnam government representatives. Vietnam government officials are attending to learn about the Philippines’ experience in rolling out infrastructure and PPP projects, and be able to gather lessons and practices applicable to their own infrastructure development.

UK companies are encouraged to join the trade mission to take advantage of the opportunity to present their capabilities and meet the key Philippine and Vietnam stakeholders.
