Bohol, the friendly heart of the Visayas, has one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Philippines.
The New Bohol Airport Project to be located in Panglao will boost further the city’s tourism agenda, enable increased economic activity and speed up recovery efforts from the devastation caused by the October 2014 earthquake. This airport facility is designed primarily to meet the initial requirements for domestic flight operations and possibly accommodate international flights during off-peak hours/night time.
The private proponent shall undertake the operation and maintenance of the airport as well as provide additional facilities and other necessary improvements to enhance passenger safety, security, access, passenger and cargo movement efficiency, and operational efficiency.
